Poor, broken woman. Everything, even the clothes, are so stark and stripped if life about her. Really love how you frizzed her hair and used that backlighting to highlight it. :)

thank you! ^^ it seemed kind of out of place to let her keep those bouncy curls... and I couldn't really remember what she would be wearing in the dungeon-- but I believe I had Edwin refer to it as "secondhand clothes from an orphaned street waif" ;D

(I should probably make them dirtier) :O

She looks so haunted. You've done her eyes phenomenally well; "windows to the soul" etc.

Also! My dad and I were having a discussion about art this evening, and he was interested to see what sort of thing one can do digitally. So I showed him your gallery and he was astounded; he was all like "IT LOOKS LIKE OIL PAINTS!!! :D" Just thought I'd pass that on! :XD:

awww that made me grin like an idiot. :aww: well give your dad a big thank you from me! :hug: He should check out some of the stuff people can do with Corel Painter; some of it is literally indistinguishable from paints. I bought it a couple years ago but I have never figured out how to do anything with it aside from discovering none of my Photoshop shortcuts work. >_>

No pointy ears? I think you're the first person who didn't paint half-elf's ears. Everyone likes to focus their attention on ears, it seems.

I actually have this funny scene written with her and Edwin revealing her ears x3

...so it's not supposed to be that obvious; they're usually hidden in her hair. ;D
