CLOSE-UPS: (sorry thumbnail limit--the rest I included as in-text hyperlinks ^^)
that is a very good question!! When I first started doing these portraits (I think in October/November), they probably took me around 5-8 hours or so (and I know there were some that didn't cooperate or that I added copious amounts of detail to, so I tweaked even longer ), but lately (the last few rows), I've been able to do them in closer to two hours.
So I suppose that's easily a hundred hours altogether on the low end, haha... but it's really been great practice. ^^
hehe, yea, im sure there where lots of hours! but there is an improvement in quality and speed for sure! I also plan to work hard to furthere improve my portrait skills. Thanks a lot for you answer. Ill try to make some time for portraits too. Cheers!
This is great set. I love your portraits and use them in my game. To be honest I have wasted many hours deciding which one I should take as my CHARENAME portrait.
